If architecture is the epitome of public art, then West Pender Place is Vancouver’s design manifesto that speaks to the city’s destiny as cosmopolitan capital of cool. Everything about the building seems to evoke a sense of accomplishment, from the striking originality of the overall design, to the ultra-modern details that lace every corner of the interiors.

Once completed, Coal Harbour will have its first true architectural marvel, and the most comprehensive waterfront community to date. This integration of form and function has been an ongoing inspiration for Reliance Properties, who in conjunction with architect Jim Hancock, have set out to create a modern landmark that synchronizes luxury interiors with the harbour’s surrounding beauty, resulting in a fluid interaction of transparency and energy.

The development consists of three separate buildings—the high-rise, mid-rise, and the podium—each with its own private entrance and elevators. Within the three buildings, there are a variety of floor plans, each designed to fit a multiplicity of lifestyles, but there is only one level of fixture and finish throughout the entire project – the very finest.
